It seems to me you forgot one very important aspect of this hand. You forgot to mention you need to hit 1 of the possible 6 cards that would even give you a prayer of getting paid off. NH though :)

Agreed.

But betting out on the flop after some hesitation pry made him think I DIDN'T have the flush.

Ditto for checking the turn.

I was definitely value betting the river. Luckily he thought he was good and put me all in.
