Flop the Nuts

What do you do?

Do you slow play to keep as many in as you can?

Should I have raised the turn?

I really wanted the overcalls. I'm starting to think I should have tried to check raise the river - at least one of these guys had to have a big club.

LVO_MOB is a maniac (47%/33%) but he usually doesn't stay in without something.

The board is too scary to raise the turn. You probably would have scared away both of them if you raised. If the turn didn't help create a straight, then I would have raised.

Although, the guy called you down with just a pair of 8s on a friggin' four-flush, three-to-a-straight board. So, who knows?

I would have raised on the flop. I found at the 1/2 level, people love to call down to the river. They don't re-raise. You may have lost the pair of 8's player, but Lov-mob (or whatever) may have called your flop and turn raise with AJ or AQ (which it appears he had).
That being said, if I didn't raise on the flop I would have on the turn for the same reasons. People love to call, call, call at this level.

I would say "ZOMG, this is a limit table" and promptly sit out.

I would have raised the turn. At least one calls both the raise and the river bet. You may get even more action when he makes the flush.
